TireStat™ is a commercial-grade TPMS product which allows Trucks and Commercial vehicles to maximize fuel economy while improving tire wear and safety. Properly inflated tires increase overall fuel economy, as well as enhance safety. A 20 percent under-inflated tire reduces tire life by approximately 25 percent. This costs money, but more importantly, it could lead to possible tire failure and a serious accident.
TireStat monitors the tire pressure and temperature on your truck and towed vehicle with easy installation and maintenance. The innovative TireStat sensors mount directly to the tire’s metal valve stem allowing air input without removing the sensor. This minimizes the chance to lose sensors and eliminates the loss of air which may occur with other sensor systems. TireStat™ includes a Handheld Monitor which also functions as a portable tire gauge – if you need to add or delete air from a tire, just take the monitor with you. The sensor can be secured using Thread Locking Compound which is provided with the system or an optional locking mechanism – this not only reduces theft, but assures an air-tight seal to prevent leakage.
TireStat™ provides alarm conditions for low pressure, high pressure, high temperature and rapid leaks to allow the driver additional security, improved fuel mileage and better tire wear. The TireStat™ system can be easily installed on most vehicles in less than 1 hour.
