Walker Magnetics manufactures Eddy Current Separators used in applications that separate non-ferrous metallics from solid waste streams. The units consist of a high strength contoured, alternating pole internal magnet that rotates at a high RPM inside a non-metallic shell. This field creates eddy currents within the non-ferrous metallic particles causing them to be ejected from the balance of the waste stream. These high strength units are available in belt widths from 24" to 60" wide.
